HTML5 Guide
Nothing quite compares to the extreme see-saw action of Hasee Bounce! Little is known about what makes the Doughnutfruits and various other food stuffs fly, but Woogy and Jimmi are hungry and have no time for such questions! They happen to love Doughnutfruits, hence the reason they've gone to all the trouble of constructing a see-saw to get to those pesky floating blobs of ripe, doughy goodness.
How to Play
After starting the game, a 3-second countdown will show on the screen before the gameplay starts. When the countdown ends, the time starts, and Jimmi and Woogy have 105 seconds to collect Doughnutfruits as they move across the screen.
You can extend your time limit by collecting letter-shaped Doughnutfruits. You can also type in doughnutfruit
at any point during the game to restart the timer.
The game can be ended early at any time by pressing the yellow star icon in the upper right corner.
Controls
There is always one Hasee on a branch and the other on the see-saw. You can move the Hasee on the branch using your mouse, and then click the left mouse button to make him jump off onto the see-saw. You can also use the arrow keys to move and the space bar to jump instead. You can use the same controls to move the Hasee while airborne too.
Which method you use is up to you, but the mouse tends to do better. You can also type in doughnutfrui
at the start during the countdown, and then wait until the last possible second to type in the final t
to restart the timer. Using the space bar counts as typing, breaking up the bit of the word you already typed, and you have to start it over!
What To Collect
Doughnutfruits of course! Here is a list of all the Doughnutfruits you will come across in the game and how many points you will get for nabbing each of them. The higher the points value the rarer they are; although the Fish Doughnutfruit tempts you with its promise of 50 points, you likely won't see any during the average game.

Combos
You complete a combo when you collect two or more Doughnutfruits in one switch from branch to branch. The first Doughnutfruit that you collect is worth its base value: the amount of points in the table above. The second one you collect is worth twice its base value, the third is three times its base value and so on. For example, if you bounced up and collected a Yellow Doughnutfruit, then a Blue Doughnutfruit, and finally another Yellow Doughnutfruit you would be awarded 10 points for that bounce:
- 1 point for the first Yellow Doughnutfruit
- 6 points for the Blue Doughnutfruit (usually worth 3 points, multiplied by 2 for the combo)
- 3 points for the second Yellow Doughnutfruit (usually worth 1 point, multiplied by 3 for the combo)
Letter Doughnutfruits
You have a starting time limit of 105 seconds to get as many points as possible. Each letter Doughnutfruit you collect awards 2 more seconds to your timer.
You'll notice in the middle of your screen there is the word Hasee shown as a shadow. As you collect the letter Doughnutfruits, you will fill this out. If you fill it out using a mixture of the orange and purple colours, you are awarded 20 extra seconds. However, if you stick with a single colour and collect either all purple or all orange letters, then you are awarded 40 extra seconds!

Hase?
The colour of letters corresponds with the colour of the Hasee that can pick it up. The orange Hasee (Woogy) can pick up orange letters but not purple ones, while the purple Hasee (Jimmi) can pick up purple letters but not orange ones. If you're just playing for some Neopoints, don't worry about gaming the colours; just get whatever letters you can whenever you can. If you're aiming for a high score or trophy, it's important to stick with one colour. If you happen to collect a purple letter first, then stick with purple as far as you can. If you're in the last twenty seconds or so of the game then switch to just collecting any letters you can to squeeze out as many seconds as possible to grab some last minute points.
If you collect all one colour of letter, a cute little Hasee (actually, a cute enormous Hasee) pops onto the screen with a happy little squeal.
What To Avoid
Along with all the sugary, fruity goodness of Doughnutfruits, there are other things flying through the air that are to be kept well away from.
Dung
Gravy?
Snotty berry thing??
If Jimmi or Woogy hit any of these nasties then they will make a little grunt of displeasure and will be unable to collect any other items on the screen for four seconds. They can really get in the way throughout the game, and you may find yourself having to "sacrifice" one of the Hasees by having them hit a pile of sludge so that the other one can bounce up in time to nab a rare Doughnutfruit. Since you can still move your Hasee as they travel through the air, most of the time you'll be able to guide them out of the way.

Timing
If you can't estimate where you're going to go before you jump, then you won't do well in this game. Experiment with the length of time it takes to get from one place to another. As a general rule, it takes about 2 seconds from branch to see-saw. Remember to look both ways before leaping; after one goes down the other one will come up, no matter what may be in that one's way. Time your jumps and dodge the non-Doughnutfruits and you'll do fine.
Maintaining all these factors gets harder as you progress through. The Doughnutfruits and such start moving faster and faster, until it's pretty hard to predict where and when you should jump. Eventually you'll just have to jump wildly and go for whatever you can get.
Item Probabilities
The probability for each item to appear is summarized below.
- Doughnutfruit: 75% (the below probabilities are relative to other doughnutfruits)
- Yellow: 87.6%
- Blue: 3.50%
- Green: 2.63%
- Silver: 1.75%
- Golden: 1.31%
- Checkered: 1.09%
- Sponge: 0.88%
- Fiery: 0.66%
- Icy: 0.44%
- Rainbow: 0.13%
- Fish: 0.044%
- Letter: 15% (each colour is equally likely to appear, as is each unused letter)
- Yucky Item: 9.9%
- TPOSG: 0.1%
Cheat Codes
As already mentioned, typing in doughnutfruit
at any point during play will restart the timer. For a fun little treat though, type in pleasegivemeonemillionneopointsthankyouhasees
(that's "please give me one million neopoints thank you hasees" without the spaces). I challenge you not to laugh.
End Screen
There are two different screens you may see at the end of the game depending on your final score. The happy Hasees eating will appear for any score of 100 or above. If you score 99 points or less, the Hasees will be full of tears.
Ollie Appearance
Like many Flash games on the site, this game was worked on by Ollie, also known as the Phantom Orange Shirt Guy. As mentioned above, there is a 1 in 1,000 chance that Ollie will appear instead of an item. He is worth 42 points.
